Key Components and Processes
 

Raw Material Handling: Ingredients like fishmeal, vegetable proteins, and binders are loaded and undergo quality checks to prevent contamination.

Grinding and Mixing: Raw materials are ground to a consistent size and then mixed thoroughly to create a homogeneous feed mixture.

Extrusion: A fish feed extruder cooks the mixture under heat and pressure, forcing it through a die to form pellets. This process is crucial for creating floating or sinking feeds.

Pelletizing: A die with specific hole sizes determines the diameter of the pellets. The mixture is then cut to the desired length to create uniform pellets.

Drying and Coating: The extruded pellets are dried to a stable form. Afterward, oils, vitamins, and other nutrients may be sprayed onto their surface to enhance nutritional value.
